Why Pemba
Pemba is the quiet half of the Zanzibar archipelago. The reefs drop into one of the deepest channels in East Africa, the forest still has flying foxes in it, and the spice farms are working farms rather than shows put on for visitors. You will not be sharing any of it with a tour bus.
